We were pleased to help a South London NHS provider develop a structured Programme Management Office (PMO) approach in order to implement a challenging financial sustainability programme.
In phase one, we set up the governance and documentation to allow ideas to be captured, documented, approved and developed into business cases. This allowed a programme of financial efficiencies to be drawn up with accountable owners, milestones and patient outcomes.
In phase two, we developed a process for monitoring delivery through monthly returns and fortnightly delivery meetings. The Provider delivered a 3% efficiency saving across all budgets as a result.
